Instrument Academies

The Instrument Academies aim to advance and nurture the musical endeavours of exceptionally talented children and youth in Finland.

The Instrument Academies is a registered association comprising the String Academy, the Youth Piano Academy Finland, and the Brass Academy. Aged between 8 and 20, students of the academies come from all around Finland.

The Instrument Academies Association is supported by the Finnish Cultural Foundation.

One of the world's leading violinists, Julia Fischer, will hold a masterclass for students of the Finnish String Academy preparing for the national Juhani Heinonen Violin Competition.
